It is free audio player for all Windows and Mac operating systems that can play all popular audio formats. It is the most popular audio player for a long time ago. Here we are talking about the lite version (which majorly plays audio files) because people usually use a professional video player to run their video files……

Winamp Lite supports a wide variety of music file formats, including midi, mod, mpeg-1 audio layers 1 and 2, aac, m4a, flac, wav, ogg, Windows Media Audio (wma) and may other formats. The program includes an equalizer with presets so you can customize how you want to listen to your music and the ability to disable its effect. You will be able to make playlists, add/remove files and save these playlist. You can also edit tags and file information.

It also supports drag and drop media directly into a playlist from windows explorer, jump directly to an item within the list by double clicking it, auto repeat, and shuffle, easily open and save playlists, integration with context menu (system shell). The program has many settings to adjust so it can work as you like (Interface, skins, visualization and system associations). It is very lite with low memory usage that can run in the background without you notice.
