Gom Player

It is free multifunctional player for all Windows that can play all you can imagine of video formats. This compact small-size media player includes many built-in codecs so you won't need to install separate codecs for most videos. If it does not include the appropriate codec, it automatically searches for it online and plays your video but this is a rare case as the built-in codecs support all major video formats. Gom Player supports video formats: gom, avi, divx, wm, wmx, wmp, wvx, mpeg, mpg, mpe, m1v, m2v, dat, vob, mp4, 3gp, k3g, lmp4, skm, dmsk, rmvb, rm, ogm, mkv, ifo, dmb, ogg, ac3, xvid, h263, flv and streaming Windows media format wmv, asf, asx.

You can also watch dvd quality videos with 5.1 channel audio output or view files that are still being downloaded. It supports smi, srt, rt, sub (with idx) files for subtitle, skin interface and making your own playing list. It is easy to use application with a simple interface and supports full screen navigation. It is also very light-weight player that does not take much memory and opens and closes quickly. The only bug is that it can not show right-to-left languages subtitles normally (it flips the characters of the words) which is not ok for these languages users to run their subtitles on their favorite movies. Generally, it is one of few players that I admire and I like to use.
