It is free antivirus for all Windows. It is a package of applications that aim to protect the normal user from possible virus infections or other malware threats. It had a very good reputation last few months that make it the best free antivirus protection currently available. As we mentioned earlier it is a package of application (you will sense that by using it), so it protects your computer against virus, spyware and malware with multiple guards or shields as its official website calls them.......
By using these shields the program is able to provide the maximum protection, as every shield is responsible for its job. For example, the behavior shield monitors activities on your computer (file system and registry) and reports/blocks any suspicious behavior. The web shield scans all visited web pages and checks all files, pages and java scripts downloaded from the internet. There are also shield to protect against network-based viruses, incoming mails and pear-to-pear applications like torrent or file sharing programs.
Although there are all these shields the program is lite on the computer system, you will not notice any difference on the computer speed. And the updates are automated; just a pop-up notification window will appear to inform you that the update was successfully completed. You can enable the silent mode to disable these notifications or you can just disable the sound accompanying these notifications.
The program has easy-to-use interface that you can configure its settings easily and fast scanning capability. But all this is for 30 days only and you have to register to get your fully free version, the registration is of course free (it is the free antivirus) and quickly done but it is bothering some users sometimes.
